About the directory

Industry experience behind an easier way to find a foreclosure attorney.

The directory was founded by Trajah Buxton, who brings more than 10 years of experience in institutional real estate and distressed debt. A former Deloitte manager, he has worked across valuation, loan collateral review, and NPL analysis.

That work made the need clear: he has seen people lose homes they had a real chance to keep. When an asset that valuable is at stake, finding the attorney who fits the matter is imperative — that conviction is why this site exists.

Connecticut is live. Start with the county where the property is.

Connecticut is the first live state. Each county page lists the firms that represent homeowners there and the courthouse that hears the case, then the town pages around that courthouse.

The rules that keep the directory honest

  • Homeowners only. Every firm is checked against its own website for evidence that it represents homeowners. Lender-side firms are not listed, and firms that work both sides say so on their profile.
  • Paid profiles are always labeled and listed first; nothing else about a firm’s profile can be bought. The one Featured Position per county is the Community Position, and $99 of every Featured month funds scholarships in that county through a local nonprofit partner.
  • Firms claim their own facts. Attorneys add bios, contact details and practice descriptions through the claim process.
  • Corrections are welcome. If a profile is wrong or a firm has moved, tell us and we fix the record, not the page.
